Uses of UREA N46%
Urea is used in both agricultural and industrial sectors, with the highest consumption, about 90% of urea production in the world is allocated to agriculture and 10% to industry. UREA N46% contains 46% nitrogen and is also known as 46% urea.
In agriculture, urea fertilizer is used directly or as an additive in other fertilizers. In addition, urea is used as an additive in animal feed. UREA N46% is usually used in agriculture as a foliar application, solid fertilizer application by hand or sprayer, or with irrigation water.
HDPE Suppliers And Manufacturers
In the industrial sector, urea is widely used in the plastics, adhesives, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, the production of various types of filters, and so on.
In common with most commercial nitrogen fertilizers, urea is manufactured from anhydrous ammonia (NH3). The high analysis of urea—46% N—is the main reason for the low cost of this form of nitrogen fertilizer.
Application of urea
UREA N46% as a nitrogen fertilizer
Nitrogen is known as one of the most important elements needed by plants and as a result, nitrogen fertilizers are among the most widely used agricultural fertilizers. They are commonly used to accelerate crop growth and yield. Urea 46 analysis used in agriculture is 46% nitrogen – 1% biuret – half% moisture – half% formaldehyde and its particle size is about 2 to 4 mm.
More than 90% of the world’s urea production contains nitrogen for use as chemical fertilizers. In general applications, urea has the highest nitrogen content of all solid nitrogen fertilizers (46.7%).
Urea is hydrolyzed in the soil and converted to ammonia and dioxide, and is used to feed crops. Urea is produced naturally through processes in the human and animal bodies, however, urea can also be produced artificially. Synthetic urea is produced by anhydrous ammonia in petrochemical manufacturers.
Urea is packed in polyethylene and propylene bags, in special containers for friable products, and also in other types of packages.
Urea can be shipped in bulk or packed with taking certain care measures; such as the possibility of getting the product into the environment and spillage of the product. Urea is transported by all transport facilities, in compliance with goods transportation regulations applied to this type of transport means.
Shelf life – 6 months from the date of production.
